Founded in 1796, Hebron hosts an active Presbyterian Church, one of the oldest Historical Societies in the state and is on the National Registry of Historic Places.
People have come from all over the world to visit this historic site.

Founded when George Washington was President, Hebron is featured in the classic Novel Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Anne Burns and is One of only three churches that serve Communion at the “Long tables”. The school was founded in 1819. The historical society was founded in 1924.
